The double-tray Autopots are hassle-free,
self-watering planter systems fit for both soil and hydroponics
applications. They feature a simple gravity-fed design so no electricity,
pumps, or timers are required for operation. The Autopot systems
include two, ten-inch pots that sit inside a provided tray assembly. This
tray also houses the so-called Smartvalve which accurately controls the flow
of nutrient solution to the individual plant sites as needed. Gardeners
connect the included Smartvalve unit to a master reservoir via some 1/4"
tubing (both included in the Autopot Complete) and keep the reservoir
level to or higher than the Autopot module for proper functioning.
The 18" x 13.5" x 13" reservoir included with the Autopot Complete
can supply up to four modules to keep plants hydrated for weeks before a
refill is needed. The Autopot Complete also comes with a 16-ounce
Liquid Earth nutrient starter kit, Ultrapeat coco-coir brick, bag
of Aerolite horticultural-grade perlite, root control mats,
connection tubing, and detailed instructions. The 24" x 11.5" x 8"
Autopot Basic serves as an expansion set for the Autopot Complete
and includes root control mats.
