GROWING MEDIUM

Coco Gro Boss - Boss is unique in its composition and is manufactured with extra washes to remove excess sodium. Boss is made from 3/4" double sieved coir fibers for increased air space to the root zone. The fiber is aged 18 to 24 months and is fully decomposed to ensure no P.H. or E.C. drifts. Boss is exceptional because of its multi-drain capability. It contains a coarse coir fiber mat on the bottom of the block to allow for free drainage and to keep coir fiber particles from draining out of the bag. Each Boss is compressed in a 5 to 1 ratio and is available in 6" X 6" and 8" X 8" bags.

Coco Gro Coir Fiber Bale - CocoGro Coir Fiber Bale. Simply just add water to the bale watch the coco expand cut the hole were you need it for your application and begin growing. The bale expands to 70 liters when hydrated. This is a really good organic growing medium.

Coco Gro Growing Slab - CocoGro Growing Slab. Simply just add water to the bag watch the coco/peat expand cut the hole were you need it for your application and begin growing. The bags are nice because there is a handle on one end so you can hang it on a wall and grow or you can lay it down and cut a hole in the side like the ready gro bags. This is a really good organic growing medium.

Coco Gro Loose - CocoGro is aged 18 to 24 months to avoid pH and nutrient imbalances. It has optimum air to water ratio with 30% air content. CocoGro is fully decomposed with stable pH & EC and is flushed of excess sodium. It is inoculated with Mychorrhizae and trichoderma fungi.

Coconut Coir - Certified by the Organic Materials Review Institute, these bricks and blocks now feature coir chunks and chips for greater root penetration. Coconut fiber is rapidly becoming one of the most popular growing mediums in the world. There are many advantages to using this growing medium including, a measure of protection from root diseases and fungus infestation, as well as high levels of natural rooting hormones. Coconut fiber comes dry and compressed and must be "fluffed-up" and re-hydrated to a consistency of wet coffee grounds.

Coconut Fiber Mats - We stock a course coconut fiber mat that is becoming very popular with people that utilize rockwool cubes in an ebb & flow (flood and drain) system. The mat in a roll that is 1/2" thick and comes in 24" and 36" widths. The mat is cut to fit the bottom of the ebb and flow tray forming a protected environment for the delicate root systems. Retains some moisture to prevent the root tips from drying out between watering cycles.

Coconut Profit Disks - Profit Disk AKA Coco Pucks. This is a "NEW" form of COCO. It comes shredded instead of coffee ground consistency. We have done many test and side by side comparisons and this growing medium ROCKS. They come compressed, each disk makes between 1 1/4 gal & 1 1/2 Gallon.

Coconut Root Pots - Plant roots easily penetrate the durable, fibrous construction of Root Pots. Made from natural byproducts of the coconut industry, square and round Root Pots are perfect for use in hydroponics systems and also serve soil gardeners well as earth-friendly alternatives to plastic and peat pots.

Expanded Clay Pellets -  A light weight replacement for gravel. Can be reused crop after crop. These pellets do not absorb water. Very popular used in conjunction with coconut fiber.

Happy Frog Soil Conditioner - Fox Farm  - Fox Farm Happy Frog Soil Conditioner is ideal for amending existing garden beds. Happy Frog Soil Conditioner loosens clay soils and provides air space for healthy roots. It neutralizes acidic soils. Contains composted forest humus, earthworm castings, bat guano, oyster shell and dolomite lime (for pH adjustment), humic acid (derived from Leonardite), granite dust, and mycorrhizae (beneficial microbes). Will cover 6 ft. x 6 ft. area 1 inch deep.

Light Warrior - Fox Farm- Fox Farm Light Warrior is a soilless agroponic growing medium complete with mycorrhizae fungi as well as other biological catalysts. This product enhances root development and encourages greater nutrient uptake. An organic blend of perlite and peat moss that is suitable for both soil and hydroponic gardening.

Ocean Forest Potting Soil - Fox Farm  - Fox Farm Ocean Forest Potting Soil is a unique product that combines the best organic fertilizers on land with the finest ingredients from the sea. The result is a rich, light, organic potting soil that is ready for use directly out of the bag. This product encourages healthy root growth, disease resistance and leafy foliage. Made of rich forest humus, sphagnum peat for aeration, bat guano, fish, crab, shrimp, and Norwegian kelp meals - and of course, Fox Farm's premium earthworm castings. There is also oyster shells mixed in to control pH. Comes in 1.5 cubic foot bags.

Planting Mix - Fox Farm  - Fox Farm Original Organic Planting Mix. Ready to use right out of the bag. Exceptional for raised bed planting & amending existing garden beds. Contains premium select Earthworm Castings, Bat Guano, & Micros.

Higromite - Higromite is the only growing medium of its kind in the world. Higromite is mined from volcanic deposits colonized by protozoa in freshwater lakes millions of years ago. These deposits produce the best natural balance of organic, major and trace elements. Higromite provides several advantages over expanded clay pellets, coco, & rockwool. It's high in Silica, ph neutral, & has the best moisture retention & release on the market today. Completely reusable, the varied shapes of the rocks promotes porosity, allowing more oxygen to reach the roots.

Oasis Cubes - Oasis cubes are designed for propagation and come in three sizes. Very light weight yet retain water very well. Great for starting seeds or cuttings.

Perlite - Perlite is used extensively by both hydroponic and soil gardeners. Perlite has good wicking action yet it doesn't absorb water which promotes aeration to the roots.

Rapid Rooters - Rapid Rooters are the newest addition to the starter cube family. Used by commercial growers for years they are now available to the general public. They are 100% organic and work great. Made from composted tree bark and latex (natural rubber). The composted bark gives off a natural rooting hormone that helps promote rapid rooting. These starter cubes also have large quantities of beneficial microbes that colonize young roots and help young plants to resist disease while maximizing nutrient uptake.

Ready Gro - Ready Gro Super Sleeve is a new all-natural soilless grow substrate. Place in tray, planters box, or hang sleeve vertically. Maintains 45% air content when fully saturated for excellent hydroponic performance in natural medium.  Ready Gro contains a specialized blend of perlite, coir fiber, Pure Blend compost accelerator, earthworm castings, agrimineral 72 silica clay, polymere hydro-crystals, and Rootshield Bio-fungicide.

Rockwool Cubes - Grodan- The cubes come in different sizes and most sizes are available with or without a preformed hole that is designed to fit the 1"x 1" starter cubes.

Rockwool Granulate - Grodan - Grodan Water Absorbent Granules consist of premium horticultural stonewool with a reputation for quality and performance. Particularly practical in hanging baskets, gardeners can use Water Absorbent Granules as a stand alone medium or as an amendment to their favorite potting mix to improve the overall water holding capacity.

Rockwool Grow Cubes - Grodan - Rockwool Grow Cubes are easy to use and environmentally friendly, Grodan grow cubes provide plant roots with a stable foundation and an excellent balance for air and water. 

Rockwool Slabs - Grodan - These slabs are wrapped in plastic and are 3 inches thick and 36 inches long. They come in several widths.

Rockwool Starters  - Grodan - These are smaller sized cubes that are primarily designed for Propagation. Whether you are starting seeds or cuttings these cubes will work great.

Silica Stone - An all natural and ph stable, Silica Stone is optimal for use in most hydroponic systems, with orchids and other specialty plants, and as a traditional soil amendment. In side-by-side studies with expanded clay pellets, basil plants grown hydroponically in silica stone exhibited more compact growth with shorter inter-nodal spacing and an increased overall yield.

Soil Moist - this organic "agro-polymer" absorbs water much like a sponge. Used as directed, it can double the amount of water retained by soil. Totally biodegradable and non-toxic.

Soilless Mix -  PROMIX Soilless mix is a combination of several different natural ingredients. These mixes usually contain sphagnum moss, vermiculite and perlite.

Sphagnum Moss - Ideal for soil conditioning; general planting of flower beds, hedges, and gardens; establishing new lawn areas; trees and shrubs; compost bins; container gardening. Well suited for indoor and outdoor horticultural applications. Sphagnum peat moss improves all soils by improving aeration, water drainage, as well as nutrient and water retention. Use to lower pH in alkaline soils. pH value averages 5.5.

Vermiculite - Vermiculite absorbs and holds water well. It is most frequently used in conjunction with perlite as the two complement each other well.
