Remote Ballasts

Remote Ballast light systems are more versatile that enclosed units, with many different reflectors available to custom "tune" your system to your specific requirements. The remote ballasts connect to the reflector (and lamp) with a 15 foot (typical) 3 conductor cord. Allowing easier hanging and movement of the reflector. The ballast can in many instances be placed outside of the grow room which can help eliminate some heat if excess heat is a problem.

	Budget Gro Remote Ballasts - Comes completely wired and ready for use. High quality ballast will provide years of trouble-free use. Quad tap ballast can operate 120, 208, 240, and 277 volts. Comes pre-wired for 120 volt operation. Lamp cord receptacle accepts all Sun System lamp cords (sold separately). "Donkey ear" flaps hold lamp cord plug securely in place. High temperature domestic capacitor ensures long-lasting durability. Heat slots remove excess heat from the ballast. Galvanized steel enclosure. Patent Pending.

	*Harvest Pro Remote Ballast* - The Harvest Pro Ballast includes: the exclusive Power Pointer, it's easy to switch from 120 to 240 volt power, simply unplug the detachable 120 volt power cord (included), turn the Power Pointer arrow down for 240 volt power and plug in a 240 volt power cord. The EZ Cap Door allows for easy access to the capacitor in the event it needs to be replaced, eliminates the need to disassemble the complete ballast housing. A barrier wall between the ballast and the capacitor/igniter helps keep the critical components cool.
	Sun System 1 - The Sun System 1 ballast is the finest quality ballast that we sell. American made with top-of-the-line American made components. The Sun System 1 ballast comes in 400 and 1000 watt Metal Halide versions as well as 400, 600 and 1000 wall High Pressure Sodium models.
	Sun System 6 - The Sun System 6 has all the features that are incorporated into our Sun System 1 fixture, but adds the ability to run either MH or HPS lamps. Changing from one lamp type to the other is easy – merely insert the appropriate lamp and set the switch to the correct operating setting.
	Sun System 7 - The Sun System 7 ballast is unique. These ballasts contain a metal halide and a high pressure sodium ballasts. The result is a very broad spectrum of light. The Sun System 7 is American made with top-of-the-line American made components. The Sun System 7 ballast comes in 800 and 1000 watt versions. The 800 watt version has a 400 watt MH and a 400 watt HPS. The 1000 watt version has a 400 watt MH and a 600 watt HPS.
	Sun System 10 - The Econo Gro Ballast comes in 400 watt Metal Halide, 1000 watt Metal Halide, 400 watt High Pressure Sodium, 600 watt High Pressure Sodium, 1000 watt High Pressure Sodium and "switchable" ballasts in a 400 watt and 1000 watt version. The Switchable ballasts allow the user to use either a Metal Halide or a High Pressure Sodium lamp by merely changing lamps and throwing a switch.
